The name of the book is "Quiet". The theme of the book is "The power of introverts in world that can't stop talking." When I heard about this book I knew I immediately wanted to read it. Being labeled an introvert I wanted to see what Susan Cain had to say about the subject.

Indeed, her book has sparked many conversations between me and a co-worker who teaches classes on people's strengths. We have compared her illustrations of how introverts handle situations to what we have seen in reality from myself and people he knows.

This book has been a great encouragement and eye opener. The author made me laugh when she describes situations of extroverts, for example, getting us all hyped up for sales, etc. Been there, done that. After working for 2 companies who value their employees and thus offer personality tests and classes on the results, I highly recommend this book just to give you more insight and to be thankful and proud to be the introvert you are.

I received this book in exchange for a book review from Multnomah Publishers. This review is my own opinion.
