I really enjoyed this book about Charlotte, the girl that isn't quite sure she is ready to grow up and be a lady, or to let go of her stubbornness. Her father, Daniel, sees Charlotte and Alex as being good for each other. He will help Alex save his family from financial ruin, and allow Charlotte go to school if they marry. They agree, but secretly plan to annul the marriage. Alex has a change of heart though, and what will Charlotte do with this?

Easy to get lost in the story, plenty of fun and romance.
