I am a huge fan of biographies. I am also an avid reader of military themed books. So when I saw this book I knew I would love it because it offerred me the best of both worlds. I was not disappointed. Fearless is a story about a man who overcame addiction and an aimless life to become one of the US military's elite special operators. More than that, this story is a testimony to the fact that no one is too far gone when God enters the scene. His grace is strong enough to save even the most depraved, and His plan can take a person that many thought was worthless and use them to impact thousands of lives. The last few chapters of the book were absolutely gut wrenching. As I read them I thought of my friends, family, and the families I see everyday who deal with the horror of war. This book is a great reminder of the sacrifice and bravery of our nation's warriors. Even though the news would want us to believe otherwise, there is still a war on. You need to read this book. Pick up a copy here.

The folks at Waterbrook Multnomah gave me a copy of this book for review. I am under no obligation to post a positive review.
