A 12 week, 6 day, bible study and encouragement, I really enjoy reading, "Trusting God: A Girlfriends in God Faith Adventure". Although, I took the time to read it more as a devotional and not as a bible study, I do have immediate plans to work through this book, in the fall.

With contributions from familiar names, readers will find themselves, challenged, convicted and encouraged to learn to just "let go" and trust God a little bit more in their lives.

This type of book, is great for new moms, maybe people going through life changes, new followers of Christ, or maybe you just have that season in your life, where you need a little bit of an encouragement to just "let go and trust God" right now.

I found the writing very free flowing in the aspect that the writers, knowingly write in a conversational, having a pep talk over a cup of coffee (or tea) manner, that really pulls the reader in.

For those who are looking for something to add to their quiet time (when ever that might be), you'll be uplifted and find yourself fully charged going through this book.

Personally, I found this book good to either read at leisure, all in one day or night (if you're a fast reader or on vacation or have lots of time on your hands), while at the same time, makes for a great bible study book, be it by yourself or in a group.

The contributing writers are very down to earth, women you can relate to in all stages of your life and, "Trusting God: A Girlfriends in God Faith Adventure", not only clearly reflects that but they also offer a link on their "Girlfriends in God" which is worth looking into as well as the website as a whole.

I found myself nodding not just in agreement, but feeling really encouraged to take that extra step in my growth as a follower of Christ. The rhythm of the book truly captures the spirit of having those close girlfriends, in your life, who encourages you to take that extra step and reminding along the way, the strength and ability that we do have within all of us and part of that including, getting over that hesitation about trusting God.

The version I have is on an e-reader which makes it even more "take anywhere you are" worthy, but you can also find this book in a paperback version, particularly if you're, like me, the type whom enjoys highlighting, using a post it note and writing in the margins, when the books touches you in a personal way.

The content of the book is very scriptural based, the typeface is easy on the eyes to read, and I particularly just enjoyed the 12 week, 6 day setup, that makes it, again, a great bible study to work through, either by oneself or in a group setting.

This is a book so worth not only reading for yourself, but sharing with the women close to you in your lives and in a bible study setting.
