I could hardly put this book down. Sasha, a beautiful, graceful ballerina harbored a secret which wound up costing her a LOT! Into her life hops Evelyn – confident, exuberant, loving, caring, a natural caregiver. These two women at first glance have nothing in common. Yet they become close friends. Evelyn, 19, has found the love of her life, Jorden. Most women reading this story will have red flags concerning Jorden, yet Evelyn is starry-eyed in love. This carries her through most of the story.
This book is Christian fiction, although not overtly so. Anyone would enjoy it. I love the slice of life aspect. I also love the healing process that occurs. I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I cried, laughed, and just plain was engaged in the story! It was different and delightful.
