Excellent spiritual idea book for men!

Patrick Morley presents an easy to read how to book for men who are looking to grow spiritually. Man Alive is a book chock full of helpful ideas for any man whose spiritual journey needs a boost. The book contains many practical, easy to apply advice. Each chapter contains reflection questions that helps the thoughtful reader to digest the contents of each chapter. At the end of the book Morley has included some advice on how to use the book in,a bible study or men's small group. The book has been no doubt created with small group bible studies in mind and would make an excellent book to fill 8 weeks with.

I give this book 4 stars instead of five because I believe that the book tries to cover too much in too few pages. At times the material covers topics in insufficient detail. This criticism is not to take away from the practical advice to be found in its pages, Just don't expect to read this book for profound depth. As a small group study for men at all stages of spiritual growth this book is excellent.

Overall, I would recommend this book to any man who is serious about becoming a better husband, father and follower of Jesus Christ.
