The Bride Wore Blue by Mona Hodgson was definitely a good read. It is, I believe, the third book in the Sinclair Sisters series. This book is about the youngest sister, Vivian. She has come west after being turned down by her father when she requested that he allow he to come to Paris. Why did she want to go to Paris? Vivian loves to design fashions. The turn down is a blow but now she is going to be with her sisters.
So, what is the problem? Vivian is dealing with the mistakes of her past. She has fallen into the trap of devaluing herself because of the mistakes she has made. Vivian has forgotten about God's love and forgiveness. She doesn't believe he can forgive her, doesn't believe her sisters will forgive her and has set herself up to never have the future she once dreamed of. Vivian cannot forgive herself.
Read the book to find out how Vivian learns, almost too late, that forgiveness can come and is a must in order to move forward in our lives. You will enjoy this book.
