The latest book that I have read is Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof. The story takes place in Rocky Knob in the Appalachian Hills. This takes place in the early 1900’s so times are so very different than today. In this story we meet Lonnie Sawyer and Gideon O Riley. I am going to try not to give anything away as this is a good read, but what do you get when the ladies man of the town kisses the shy girl and gets caught by her dad the answer is a lot, but I am not going to tell you as I want you to find out on. your own. This book shows you the difficulties in life and the answers that faith brings. The author writes of these different people in a very descriptive way. She also writes with a tender heart and a sense of humor I really liked this love story. I really like this author. This book is Joanne Bischof’s first book and it is the first of the series called Cadence of Grace. I cannot wait until the next book in this series is releases. I give this book my four star rating. This book goes on sale October 2, 2012 watch for it and get. I got this complimentary book from Water Brooke Multnomah Publishing Group for my review.
