As part of their Blogging for Books campaign, I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
I really hoped I would like this book. I really hoped this book would help reinforce that working for and with the family by doing everyday household chores can be a joyful blessing. This book would be more of a help in home where the children are not already doing regular chores.
I have no idea how the athor has five children and did all she did for them. She must have been ragged each and every day if her children had never cooked a meal, made a bed or even picked up their own pajamas.
Typically, I would think the larger the family, the more each member helps out, apparently not in her house. This book does provide a clear message in an entertaining way, but it was not the book for me and my family.
