This was truly a simply good book. It was simple in its message but a great message that we need to be reminded of time to time. To quote the author, “While regular Bible study and cultivating a life of prayer are indispensable, there is far more to a personal experience with Jesus.” This is just an example of the simple yet effective reminders in this book that we need to hear at times when we fall into a daily routine in our relationship with Jesus.

I found the book an easy read due to the logical flow and great way the author built upon each chapter. Because of this I would recommend this book to those that are seeking to find Jesus and new believers. I also think those that are mature in their faith will find this book enjoyable, as I did. It is a book that I have bookmark and will reference, if not reread, from time to time to keep my life in check and my faith simply about Jesus.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
