This 12 month experiment is intended to get its audience to engage their own children with the ability to step up around the house. This book is a great self help book for any family looking for more people to pitch in and help out with chores. I love that she sticks to her guns when the kids slack off of their duties. This is definitely one area where I need all the encouragement that I can get. The authors overall results turned out very well which is the big picture when wanting these changes to take place. This is definitely one of those books that I will hold on to and probably reference over and over again while raising my children.
