I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story captured me from the very introduction of the main character Meg. I have never had the opportunity to travel to Florence, Italy but this story left me with a desire to travel there to see so many of the sculptures and portraits mentioned in the book.

Susan Meissner did an amazing job creating two distinct character voices in Meg and Nora. The writing style is completely different for both of these characters, which is truly a huge undertaking.

This book kept me wanting to read more and I found myself satisfied, yet longing for more at the end of the story. I wanted to find out more about what happens to Sofia and of course, Meg and Lorenzo. The story must stop somewhere though :)

Thank you to WaterBrook Press for the free copy to review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
