I wasn't too sure how I was going to feel about this book. The subject matter intrigued me, but I was cautious at first, not sure where the author was going to take readers, regarding demonic activity. This story is a great example of just how easy it is to fall prey to deception.

Corrie is broken hearted after losing her beloved husband, and goes back the home they had planned to live in, in search of some peace. While there, Corrie encounters some strange activities in the house, that at one point, she thinks is her deceased husband.

The author writes from a Christian perspective, and I think she does a fantastic job at exposing the tricks, lies and deceit of necromancy. Well meaning relatives think they are helping Corrie by offering to communicate with Jarrod, but the author shows how opening the door to the demonic realm, even just a crack, can lead us down the wrong path.

I enjoyed the story and highly encourage you to read it for yourself. This book surprised me, as I wasn't expecting it to play out the way it did.
