You Can't Make Me (But I Can Be Persueded) is an excellent tool to help parents with their strong willed children. Some of the main points made in the book are very practical: we must set boundaries for our children, we must find out what motivates them (to do our will), and we must relate to them with respect. I think different readers will glean different things, but I think it offers ideas for every parent with a head-strong child ways and strategies for coping.
