Fatal Distractions is divided into 6 weeks of lessons, which you could read in a group or individually. The practice for a book of this nature would be to read it in a group setting so that you can discuss the lesson with others which will give you the opportunity to share your feelings about the lesson and vice versa.
I have read other study guides by Kay Arthur Ministries and this one for me was not very much different from the others I have read, I was not that impressed. A bile study on six deadly sins that can threaten our faith is the core of this book. I did enjoy how Kay has us looking up the scriptures to find the answers for ourselves in this study.
