It is rare that a book is so good that I do not want it to end. Be Still My Soul is one of those rare books. I wish the story could have continued into many more years of the lives of Gideon and Lonnie.

They were forced into a marriage by Lonnie's abusive father, at a rather young age. Gideon thought he was a ladies man and was very bitter about getting "stuck". After fleeing their home in search of a new start, God brought Jebediah and Elsie into their lives not only for their physical needs but also their spiritual needs.

Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof is the first book in The Cadence of Grace Series, and I must confess that I can hardly wait for book 2. I would recommend this book to all of my readers.
