This is s six week Bible study guide written by Kay Arthur, David and BJ Lawson of Precept Ministries International. It is intended to be a 40 minute study that can be done on a weekly basis for 6 weeks. The focus of the study is on six of the seven deadly sins: pride, anger, jealousy, gluttony, slothfulness, and greed. There is no homework involved in the study and the questions are categorized into sections entitled Observe and Discuss with a wrap up summary at the end of each weekly study. A group leader is suggested to read the questions and lead the discussion. The entire study helps the individuals to identify the ways in which these fatal distractions or sins can invade your life and to be equipped to conquer these temptations which interfere in spiritual journey with Christ. This study would be ideal for a lunch time Bible Study or other setting where there are time constraints. I received this book for free from the Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
