If you aren't inspired after reading Nick's story, I don't know that you can be. Nick Vujicic was born without any limbs and gives an awesome portrayal of his struggle with holding on to hope and his pursuit of a "normal" life. Although he grew up in a very supportive Christian home, he had a hard time coming to terms with his disability. He very honestly opens up about his battle with depression, thoughts of suicide and questioning why this happened to him and wondering if God really loved him as much as everyone else. Throughout this short book, you get a wonderful picture of how he has overcome that and so much more. He is now a sought-after speaker, is married, surfs and scuba dives! Nick's goal is to encourage anyone with challenges and hardships to overcome them with hope, living a life above circumstances. He reminds us that even when you have negative thoughts, you have a choice. You can reach out for help, picture better days and perform actions that will make those better days come to life. I can't wait to read more of his books.
