Breath Of Angel by Karen Henley is the first in a trilogy of books called The Angelaeon Circle. The book is an engaging journey of angelic fantasy that follows the journey of a young girl Melaia a young priestess who finds out the world is nothing she believed it to be. What begins with the murder of an angel in front of her very eyes catapults her into an adventure that is hard to forget. Karyn Henley's writing is great and leaves you filled with anticipation for the next page. On a negative end the book took a little while to get into. Even though it begins quickly hopping into an action packed opener, it took me a while to think through pronouncing some characters names and I became confused at one point as to who was who and had to go back and reread. Overall I enjoyed the story and look forward to more installments of the tale.
