The Sound of Sleigh Bells by Cindy Woodsmall was a great book and an easy read. It only took me less than a day to read the whole thing. I really enjoyed the story of Beth and her struggles. Most of the time, I put the Amish up on a pedestal and think they don't deal with the same relational and personal issues we do. This book shows that they do struggle with relationships and personal hardships and they, like us, can move on with God's help. My favorite character was Jonah. I loved how he made the most of what God gave him in regards to his own personal struggles.
